How can we survive?

So I walked into Starbucks this morning and was faced with the stupidity of the American public. As I walked in there was a line of about 6 people. Not a long line but do you get in the back of a line that has formed coming out the exit. There is what I think is a clearly marked sign saying "enter here" giving the line a place to be. Instead the line had formed at what was the exit path from the registers. Now I imagine some of the people at the back of the line may have been faced with the same problem I was: do you just be a lemming and get in the back of the line or do you follow directions and look like a jerk to all the others in line?

Delicious tako salad

Last night I had one of the most delicious, fresh dishes I've ever had. We went to a newly opened sushi place and on the advice of my wide I had the tako appetizer.


It's was thin slices of octopus, cucumber and lemon with a lemon and vinegar dressing. I am not a huge lemon fan normally, but this dish was a game changer. Mmmm mmmm good.

Fun times at the market

Last night we made a stop at the local Asian market. It is truly one of my favorite places to browse. I'm sure they wish I would buy more, but I can't tell what half the stuff is, and most of the other stuff I have no idea how I would use it.



His is one of my favorite items every time I go in. I love the fact they use a picture of a real chicken for the chicken flavored item. Do you think the photographer used a trained chicken for the shot or did he just go out and take pictures of just random chickens.



They do say that the Italians stole pasta from them, perhaps they stole the name too. Here are some other items you may want to pick up next time you visit your local super mega grocery/home/car repair/warehouse store.

New find

So yesterday I was searching through the hundreds of channels that I never usually go to, and I found one that I had never seen before. It is called M-net and is about Asian pop culture. While I'm not really sure what the heck k-pop is I do like the travel and food shows they've been showing. The fashion and music seem to be a lot about boy and girl bands. I'm sure this channel is for a younger audience than myself but whose gonna turn it off on me.

The wait

Sitting at the doctors office waiting. Not waiting to see the doctor that happened fairly fast. No I'm waiting for the lab to fake my blood, the bloody vampires. Actually I have no problem with the lab techs, I just wish I could stab myself and be out of here. All these sick people are likely to make a boy sick.

And away we go

I'm writing this morning at about 6am as I wait for the rest of my family to rise and shine. Today is the first full day for us as an entire family at wdw. We have 8am reservations for chef mickeys, so the kids can meet the mouse himself. I have for the most part been a lone commando park goer, so traveling with a group is going to be a big change for me. Well off to wake up the wife with Starbucks in hand.

Finally here

Well today is the day paige and I leave for the gig williams family Disney world vacation. This will only be the second time as adults my brothers and I will have vacationed together as adults and the first with children that weren't infants. I'm really looking forward to it. We will drive part of the way today and check-in at pop century tomorrow. A big thanks to my pops for arranging this and footing the bill, he not only paid for the parks and lodging, but for the deluxe dining plan as well. So the next you here from me I will be in my happy place, somewhere in the heart of wdw.

I'm still here

I'm still here world. Had to take a little break to do some renovations to my house so that we can sell it. That has now neared completion and I am getting ready to head to wdw for family vacation. Talk to you soon.
