why can't i be allowed to give out fines to the idiots who can't get there car quickly through a toll booth. just give me a pad of tickets, each one a $25 fine and let me do what this area needs.
in todays adventure at the toll booths i got stuck behind one of my most hated enemies the dipspit who doesn't want to mount his smart tag/ezpass to his windshield as it was meant to be. instead this moron holds the device up to his windshield as he attempts to pass through the booth.
i have to assume that this works most of the time for this guy. otherwise why would you do it, right? i must just be seeing those rare instances when this fool-proof system breaks down. when instead of the toll booth arm raising gloriously to the freedom of the promised road beyond, this idiot is left waving his arm frantically back and forth, like he is trying to signal the space shuttle where to land. then after what feels like several minutes of arm slapping he gives up and puts his car in reverse to try and go through again. only at this point a long line of angry cars have pulled right up to his bumper and can not move. we are all then left to wait for the little woman in the orange vest to come and look disdainfully at the idiot and set us all free.
do me a favor world, just mount the thing on you windshield, because you don't want to be the even more hated guy who has a smart tag which isn't mounted and is scrambling trying to find it.
