Nativity misplacement

As the holiday season winds down I bring to you one the most awkward places to display a nativity scene.



Of course perhaps this is a ploy to make sure no one stinks up the place.

Xmas winding down

It's only 9:30pm but it's time to wind down from the Xmas holiday. Back to work in the morning, it hurts to think about it already. I'll just go back to my new hat and sit happily waiting for sleep.

Bass pro shop

I found myself out at bass pro shops (aka the mans-store, aka redneck-paradise) this morning. Actually I found myself out there twice, the first time of which turned out to be an hour before they opened. I have to admit that one of the pleasures I have of going out there is just seeing all the different combinations of camouflage that people find it okay to wear. As camouflage is primarily a hunting device, I often wonder how much shopping is like hunting to these fine folks. There are those with just a splash, say a hat or boots. Then you go a little bigger a camo jacket, possibly pants. Then there are the guys who I would think will be leaving directly from bass pro shops back into the woods to snipe a bear. Ahhh man-store, hours of entertainment with no admission fee.

I was watching old episodes (are there any other) of "married with children" on Netflix, when who should appear in a bit role but the weasel himself Pauly Shore before he hit it big.
