So I, my wife, her parents and her brother are taking trip to Israel at the end if January, and the trip has honestly caused me quite a bit of stress. First off there was paying for the trip itself. We had to pay about $7500 for the two of us, which is no small amount to come up with. We made that goal and now are now broke for a couple months, but at least we made it. The bigger stress came though when we realized we could not find my wife's passport. We have to be at a meeting for the trip tomorrow with our passports and have been looking for it for a couple weeks. I even had the storage pod redelivered to our house so we could go through every box, with no luck.
Last night as I went to bed I said a prayer that we could find the passport or be given an extension on having it. As I drifted off to sleep I kept thinking of all the places it may be, then I thought about the desk our fish tank sits on. I know I had seen the passport in the desk drawer years earlier when we were using it as an actual desk. This morning after running a few errands I went to the desk drawer to look, but found nothing but some old gift cards. Then I saw an orange box under the desk I knew had a bunch of random junk from the condo move. I opened it, dug through, and there by the grace of god it lay before me. I can't tell you the release of stress I felt, I am overwhelmed be relief. So this morning I do something I don't do often and openly praise god for the peace he now brings to me.
